Introduction

Following the very successful meetings in Vodňany, Czech Republic in 2007 and Valencia, Spain in 2009, we are pleased to announce that the 3rd International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes will be held in Budapest, Hungary on September 7-9, 2011. Organization of the meeting will be shared between the Department of Aquaculture of Szent István University in Gödöllő, Hungary (responsible for the scientific content) and Diamond Congress Kft. which will act as an organizing secretariat.

The meeting will be preceded by a welcome party on September 6th while the scientific program will begin on Wednesday, September 7th and end on Friday, September 9th. We plan to have a dinner Friday evening allowing you to spend the weekend in Budapest.
